Trip to Cambridge
…While my wife and youngest were shopping & spending their Christmas money and vouchers, I wandered around the city centre with my camera.
…While my wife and youngest were shopping & spending their Christmas money and vouchers, I wandered around the city centre with my camera.
We had a quiet evening in on Boxing night so I took the opportunity to grab a few shots.
These shots are all taken within a few yards of the Broadway Cinema in Letchworth town centre.
I’ve shot over 100 games of British American football in the past 5-6 years. On many of them, certainly in the last 3 years, I have tried to take some shots on my
non-standard sports photography setup, i.e my compact camera or my iPhone.
One thing the phone cameras have never really excelled at is low light photography.
…As I was driving down the dual carriageway into Stevenage, I became aware of a loud sound from the other carriageway.
This weekend saw the Hertfordshire Hurricanes begin their campaign for another National Championship, with an away game at Colchester, against the
Essex Blades.
I’m always taking shots when I go around the town centre.
It’s interesting photographing the same scenes and buildings and trying to get a different aspect or result.
These were taken with the ‘Provoke’ monochrome app on the most contrasty setting.
My middle daughter is currently studying at Nottingham Trent University out on their remote campus at Brackenhurst.
