I had the half-term week off work in October. As we hadn’t had a summer holiday we were trying to go on day trips on the time that I did have available.
We popped up to the North Norfolk coast. We visit the area a lot and usually stay near Cromer.
We walked down to the pier and had some chips. While waiting for the others I saw an elderly chap who appeared to be writing on the barrier which
surrounds the pier. I couldn’t really believe that he was doing some graffiti, though that is exactly what it looked like. I walked over to get a closer view and it
was then that I realisd he wasn’t writing, but cleaning out the engraved lettering on a plaque.
The handrail is covered in memorial plaques, so I had to get a few shots.
After some time on the pier we took a leisurely stroll along the prom and then went into town where we had a chance to look round the church. On the way
out I spotted a cat sitting in the porch who seemed quite content to let me stroke him and take a few snaps.
